3 Reasons Camp Walden From The Parent Trap Is The Perfect Camp

What happens when twins, who were both separated at birth, suddenly reunite at the same camp twelve years after they were born? They realize that their reunion at Camp Walden made them not only close friends, but “practically like sisters!” So what is it about Camp Walden that is so perfect? Let's take a look at three reasons Camp Walden is the perfect twin trap.

1.) The Isolation Cabin At Camp Walden Actually Brings People Together (Let’s Get Together, Yeah Yeah Yeah)

When Hallie and Annie first met at Camp Walden, they were quick to become anything less than friends. However, after realizing that they were siblings (by being stuck in the isolation cabin together) they grew inseparable. Bonding together not just as long lost siblings, but best friends too! We quickly learn that true friends are there for you - even during tough times. Just like being stuck in an isolation cabin together!

2.) Your Friends Will Always Stick By Your Side, Especially The Ones That Helped You With Your Duffel Bag

When Hallie struggled to get her duffel bag out of the pile, she instantly became friends with “tie-dye girl”, Nicole. The girl who helped Hallie surprisingly pull out her duffel bag. Who would’ve guessed that when you’re in a brand new place, you can instantly make friends over the most simple things? Eventually, Nicole, Hallie, and their other friends play pranks on Annie and her friends, showing that friends will always stick by your side, even through the craziest plans.

3.) You Can Always Bet You’ll Meet Someone Who You’ll Never Expect; Perhaps A Missing Twin! (Sisters? We’re Twins!)

Perhaps if one were to go to summer camp, one might think that they would perhaps become lots of friends who share the same interests. But you can always bet you’ll meet someone who you’ll never, ever expect. Perhaps bonding over something silly or perhaps over your love for peanut butter and Oreo's. But when Hallie and Annie were sent to Camp Walden, little did they think that they were going to meet, let alone that they were twins.

We eventually realize that, you can truly meet someone unexpected at a summer camp, and whether you bond with them or not, it’ll always be something you’ll never expect.
