The first piece, a navy short sleeve tee, is inspired by the idea that the Yellowjackets safely landed and won their championship game. The yellow front-facing design features the Wiskayok High School name, Yellowjackets, and a soccer ball with the year 1996 inside. Made to elicit that team player feeling.
The second piece, a charcoal gray sweatshirt, features a yellow f4ront facing dancing graphic that reads, "There's No Book Club?!" This piece is a lot of fun and not just for Yellowjackets fans, but for anyone that needs their book club!
Both pieces are made up in limited quantities and limited edition. Available now.
]]>According to the USPS, shipping transit time will take days longer starting now (I've noticed this already). Especially going from the shop in New York to anywhere on the west coast.
Any forthcoming drops and/or new pieces will be out by November 5th. Unfortunately, International/Canadian shipping will end on Friday, November 19th (and will resume in January).
I will be doing an early Black Friday sale for newsletter subscribers the week before that International shipping end date so everyone can be a part of the sale. Sign up: Any questions, let me know in the comments! eepurl.com/dpNy25

The Gale Weathers set is straight out of the 90s. The tour is implied to take place after Scream 1, but before Scream 2. Adorned with aback facing graphic featuring Gales works in the mid 90s followed by a list of book tour dates. The book tour dates feature Waldenbooks, Borders, B. Dalton, and some more easter egg type shops. The first and last date are a nod to the release dates for Scream 3 and Scream 4.
The joggers feature a glowing quote that only Gale would put on her merch with additional graphics to pull the look together.
]]>The beautiful people over at Mailchimp and their podcast, Call Paul (hosted by Paul Jarvis), invited me to speak to Paul and chat about a day in the life at Totally Good Time in their new segment, Small Business Spotlight. The ins, the outs, the designs, and the drama (jk, there's no drama).
The pod kicks off with a moment in the rain, but it ends with doing what makes you feel good. Go ahead, lean back in your seat, and spend eight minutes listening to me talk about myself (so good at that) and the shop as I prepare for worldwide domination the day, and the future of TGT.

]]>What happens when twins, who were both separated at birth, suddenly reunite at the same camp twelve years after they were born? They realize that their reunion at Camp Walden made them not only close friends, but “practically like sisters!” So what is it about Camp Walden that is so perfect? Let's take a look at three reasons Camp Walden is the perfect twin trap.
1.) The Isolation Cabin At Camp Walden Actually Brings People Together (Let’s Get Together, Yeah Yeah Yeah)
When Hallie and Annie first met at Camp Walden, they were quick to become anything less than friends. However, after realizing that they were siblings (by being stuck in the isolation cabin together) they grew inseparable. Bonding together not just as long lost siblings, but best friends too! We quickly learn that true friends are there for you - even during tough times. Just like being stuck in an isolation cabin together!
2.) Your Friends Will Always Stick By Your Side, Especially The Ones That Helped You With Your Duffel Bag
When Hallie struggled to get her duffel bag out of the pile, she instantly became friends with “tie-dye girl”, Nicole. The girl who helped Hallie surprisingly pull out her duffel bag. Who would’ve guessed that when you’re in a brand new place, you can instantly make friends over the most simple things? Eventually, Nicole, Hallie, and their other friends play pranks on Annie and her friends, showing that friends will always stick by your side, even through the craziest plans.
3.) You Can Always Bet You’ll Meet Someone Who You’ll Never Expect; Perhaps A Missing Twin! (Sisters? We’re Twins!)
Perhaps if one were to go to summer camp, one might think that they would perhaps become lots of friends who share the same interests. But you can always bet you’ll meet someone who you’ll never, ever expect. Perhaps bonding over something silly or perhaps over your love for peanut butter and Oreo's. But when Hallie and Annie were sent to Camp Walden, little did they think that they were going to meet, let alone that they were twins.
We eventually realize that, you can truly meet someone unexpected at a summer camp, and whether you bond with them or not, it’ll always be something you’ll never expect.
What trip to camp happens without a field trip? Camp TGT is taking you to the city of sin, Las Vegas, and we're bringing you a fresh style inspired by the HBO Max show, "Hacks"! The Deborah Vance tour features fun tidbits in reference to the show and a quote that only the keenest of viewers would recognize.

The tee features a slew of Bring It On moments and sayings in red ink on a heather gray super soft unisex fit tee. The fifth style is an abstract design honoring the toothbrush scene between Torrance and Cliff.
Complete the collection with a sticker sheet featuring mini stickers and a talk bubble magnet that reads, "This is not a democracy, it's a cheerocracy.

]]>With the release of the True American hoodie, it's time to compile all the "New Girl" True American episodes where you can find (and learn?) how to play the game. 1, 2, 3, 4, JFK, FDR!
Season 1, Episode 20, Normal
The first episode that True American is featured is in season 1, episode 20 titled "Normal." The episode kicks off with the boys playing the game and Jess is on her date with Russell. She hurries back to the loft fearing the boys "need" her and not only exclaims, "don't play True American without me" but ropes Russell into the game too.
This first episode is the best way to find the rules of the game. We learn there are four zones, an alternate crazy zone, a trail of chairs, the floor is lava, pawns (beers) are soldiers of the secret order, the king of the castle (Jack Daniels/hard liquor) is in the center of the pawns, and it all starts with a shotgun tip off. Then, all exclaim, "1, 2, 3, 4! JFK! FDR!"
Season 2, Episode 15, Cooler
This episode features the game, but "with a sexy new twist: Clinton Rules. Pick your intern." Someone is the president and the vice president. Exclamations of, "I am not a crook!" and "Westward-ho, son, westward ho!" are shouted. This episode also features Nick and Jess sharing their first kiss.
Season 3, Episode 20, Mars Landing
This episode features a straightforward, albeit, quick game of True American. Not much has changed and there's a focus on Gin. "Gin! Gin! Gin!" The gang gets royally blitzed. Beware of gin.
Season 5, Episode 21, Wedding Eve
Welcome to True American: First Lady's Edition." This edition of the game features classic shouts like, "Decorate!," "Rushmore!" and "Seneca Falls Convention: Women Only!" This episode features some highlights before the big wedding of Schimdt and Cece.
Season 7, Episode 8, Engram Pattersky
The final episode to feature True American is the final episode of the series. This edition is titled, "True American: Packing Edition!" This edition game features "manifest destiny!", "I like the look of that Ox!" and "Almost to Utah, Uncle Brother!" The final game of the series may break you into tears as it leads into a touching moment for the characters.
One thing about True American that is certain is that each game leads to a pivotal moment in the characters lives. As much as its about having fun, and enjoying this crazy game, it's about coming together and building upon the relationship. 1, 2, 3, 4! JFK! FDR!

Each and every piece that was made to honer Mimi is no longer available in my shop. While this disappoints me, I can absolutely understand that Mariah (and her team) want total ownership of something offered in her likeness.
Moving forward, I may try to create a few pieces that are more vague in honoring the Voice and offer those at Christmastime. Thank you for being super supportive of my Mariah Carey pieces over these last five years.

"Amid the chaos of that day, when all I could hear was the thunder of gunshots, and all I could smell was the violence in the air, I look back and am amazed that my thoughts were so clear and true, that three words went through my mind endlessly, repeating themselves like a broken record: you’re so cool, you’re so cool, you’re so cool?"
2. Don't Tell Mom the Babysitter's Dead (1991)
Rose Lindsey: "Why don't you go on home, have a glass of wine and put some cucumber slices on your eyes, you'll feel much better." Sue Ellen: " Well, I'm all out of cucumbers." Rose Lindsey: "Sue Ellen, every girl over twenty-five should have a cucumber in the house."

To say Reese has been involved in a lot of projects is the understatement of the century. Here are some choice moments, curated by us, for you to feast upon. If you savor these, and chew slowly, they'll get you through the rest of 2018 and then suddenly, it will seem, season two will be upon us!
We also have a Big Little Lies sweatshirt to keep you warm on those especially trying nights of waiting and wishing season two were here already! Or you can show your allegiance to Madeline with our I Love My Grudges tee.
1. Pleasantville (1998)
Transported with her dorky brother David (Tobey Maguire) into some kind of alternate black and white universe, Jennifer (Witherspoon) is a disruptive force, injecting color and chaos everywhere she goes.
2. Cruel Intentions (1999)
In this nod to Dangerous Liaisons, proud and pure virgin Annette (Witherspoon) wins the heart of soulless, sinister Sebastian (Ryan Philippe - who she would later marry IRL!) much to the chagrin of his equally evil sister Kathryn (Sarah Michelle Gellar).
3. Election (1999)
Witherspoon plays Tracy Flick, a success obsessed candidate for school president willing to lie, cheat, and steal to get elected. When student government teacher Jim McAllister (Matthew Broderick) decides to intervene in the name of ethics, it's war.
4. Legally Blonde (2001)
Elle Woods (Witherspoon) wants one thing only, to become Mrs. Warner Huntington III (Matthew Davis). Warner is apprehensive, on the grounds of Elle being too blond. She shows him, gets herself accepted to Harvard, and learns a thing or two from it all... If you're team Elle (as you'll surely be) you may want to snag this sweatshirt . Or maybe this tee.
5. Walk the Line (2005)
Reese stole the show and won her first Oscar (we think there are more to come) for her portrayal of June Carter Cash, mistress and eventual wife of Johnny Cash (Joaquin Phoenix). Reese also revealed impressive singing chops, and has us hoping that one day she'll record a kitschy country western album.
]]>I've been on working on the summer collection over the past few months. Basically, it started with a lot of ideas and then I kept editing. And editing. And editing. The one thing that I really wanted was for this collection to be cohesive with what TGT stands for and represents. Fun, outgoing, positive pop culture realness. There's a hint of a cultural reference from past, present and today mixed into every piece.
I've updated and added about eight new sweatshirt and hoodie variations. There's crops and standard sweatshirts. Living in California made me aware that you need a full on sweatshirt at night. Living in New York mad me aware that you need a crop sweatshirt so your back can breathe. East coast, I know you know what I'm talking about.
About 20 tees were added or updated. All of the tees were inspired by lingo and moments that we use every day and some recall nostalgic moments from years past. I tried to mix in a lot of earth tones with basic primary colors.
My model, Barbara Ramos, and I went all around Brooklyn earlier this week and shot just about every piece. I told Barbara we were going for real, happy, outgoing moody moments. I'll continue to shoot with more models throughout the next couple weeks to add more viewpoints, so you can better understand fit.
Something else I'm excited about is that this feels (it might actually be) like the best thing ever done at TGT. I'm most proud of this collection. I can't actually recall a time in the last three years where I debuted a line versus just adding in new arrivals every so often. My hope is that you connect with the pieces, feel empowered, are ready to lol and let the good times roll.
Comment below if you have a fave piece! Also, all the stuff from TGT past is in the shop all section. I'll never remove those staples that I know you love. Have a great summer and tag your pics #SeeMeLookGood on Instagram to get featured! I want to see how you put your looks together and how you have a totally good time!

Yesterday I went and saw I Feel Pretty. I thought the movie was pretty good and I walked out feeling pretty good. Later that night I found myself thinking about the movie and further thoughts propelled my thinking into the next day (today as I write this). I went over to the I Feel Pretty Instagram account and it was pretty standard stuff. Then it hit me that Amy Schumer has this opportunity to take exactly what she was showcasing in the movie and make it an IRL showcase. I left a comment with that exact idea. I submitted the comment, put my phone down and walked away. I started walking around and began thinking. I thought about Totally Good Time and how I would like Totally Good Time to be more than what it is and have it be this hub for real people, doing real things, having real talks, in real life.
So why don’t we do it?
The shop is filled with statements and my goal is to merge those statements with what’s happening in real life. This feels like a natural progression that has been happening over the past year, and now it's just being pushed to the point of no return. Let’s make this a place where good things happen. On my end, I have limited structure with a limited idea. I only have a vague thought of what will be next. But what I do know is that we’re in this together. The images online and personas online, even from the accounts that attempt to debunk that idea, have failed me. Let’s get into this and let’s get into it now.
Totally Good Time is where good things happen and I want to hear from you. I want to know what is your “big mood” – literally. Can we be okay feeling average? Are cancelled plans your favorite plans, why? I'd like to pull some quotes from your replies and post those online (linking to full reply) and let our like-minded friends know that they are not alone in what they might be feeling. I'll share these online.
If there’s one thing I know, it’s that we’re not alone in reaching for something good. We want the good and we deserve the good. Let’s kick this off and start here. Here's some more questions to get you thinking.
Who is there for you during the good times?
What drives you?
What moves you?
What makes you feel things?
When do you realize you’re unhappy? When do you realize you’re happy?
Where do you feel most comfortable?
How do you get through particular rough times?
How are you doing?
Feel free to comment to this post or email (anonymously or not) at hello@totallygoodtime.com with subject line, "Good Things Happen."
